When translating texts for catalogues, instruction manuals or any other multilingual material, the page layout is crucial.
In addition to facilitating the comprehension of the text, it also needs to present the contents with a clean look that’s easy to read.
This is a service often associated with translations and normally offered by all translation agencies.
Our graphic designers are Adobe Certified Experts (ACE), a certification held by very few operators in Italy. Their advanced technical skills allow optimised language switching within graphic files, something other professionals are simply not able to do.
All this without needing to resort to third-party professionals. Together with our programmers, we have also developed software to simplify and partially automate language switching processes: Through a plug-in between Trados (a translation management software) and the graphic program used, we create semi-paginated files which are then checked by the layout artist before being submitted to the client in a high-res PDF format.
